THR Machinery

Custom Assembly Equipment, Fixtures & Leak Testing

THR Machinery designs and builds custom assembly equipment, assembly fixtures, brazing equipment, leak testing equipment, custom machine tools, and CNC machined components for manufacturers that need dependable, repeatable production solutions. THR Machinery was established in 1995 by Tim Robbins as a custom-design machine shop with a strong background in the automotive manufacturing industry. Since the beginning, THR has focused on providing dependable, high-quality products and services for customers who need precision, experience, and practical manufacturing solutions.

THR Machinery designs and builds a wide range of custom manufacturing solutions, including assembly equipment, machined fittings, tooling, fixtures, workstations, specialty machines, bracket bending equipment, Mubea earless clamp installation systems, and brazing equipment for propane and natural gas systems. Our equipment is designed to improve production efficiency, repeatability, operator safety, and ease of use on the manufacturing floor.

Our design process begins with 3D CAD design using SolidWorks. THR currently uses six seats of SolidWorks, with each designer using the software daily. Our designers bring more than 30 years of individual experience in assembly equipment, custom machine tools, and fixtures for the automotive industry. This hands-on experience helps us understand the real-world challenges our customers face, including quality concerns, production breakdowns, repair time, and safety requirements.

THR Machinery designs custom assembly equipment built to perform in demanding manufacturing environments. One example includes compact assembly equipment designed to hold four different transmission lines while maintaining a small footprint. Whether the project requires a single prototype part, production machining, tooling, bracket bending, Mubea earless clamp installation, or a complete custom fixture, our goal is to provide practical solutions that improve production, increase repeatability, and meet tight tolerance requirements.

All components are machined in-house using Mazak CNC machining centers, giving us better control over quality, accuracy, and delivery. From SolidWorks design to CNC machining, assembly, and final build, THR Machinery is committed to producing quality equipment and components that meet customer expectations and support long-term manufacturing success.
