Coolant Hose Assembly Fixture.
THR Machinery custom designs and builds coolant hose assembly fixtures based on customer 3D models, including STEP files. Each fixture is designed in SolidWorks to match the customer’s part geometry, assembly requirements, and production process.
Fixtures can be built as semi-automatic systems, where the operator loads the components and installs the hoses with support from pneumatic clamps, guided tooling, and linear slides. This helps improve part location, repeatability, and operator ease of use.
For higher production needs, fixtures can also be designed as automatic installation systems. In this setup, the operator loads the components into the fixture, presses the start button, and the machine completes the hose installation cycle.
THR Machinery can design fixtures for high-volume production assemblies as well as multiple low-volume assembly variations. This is especially useful when customers have the same T-insert or common component but several different hose configurations. Fixtures can be designed to support repeatable changeover, accurate part placement, and consistent assembly quality.
